Eivor aka “Wolf-Kissed” is a devoted Viking shieldmaiden from Norway, set in the 9th century raiding England and the main protagonist in Assassins Creed Valhalla. ACV is an action adventure role play game developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft. You can play either as a female or male Eivor as the story unfolds throughout the open world game. ACV is the twelfth major installment and does a phenomenal job addressing the story line/unfolding plots.
Fun Fact: Valhalla remains true + historically accurate to real Viking era. They show this through their choice of weapons (shield & axe), currency - silver “pennies”, longships etc.

Discord partners with Sony
Recently this week Sony announced that it will be partnering with Discord, which hopefully will bring a native Discord app to the Sony store. A quote from the Sony Interactive Entertainment president Jim Ryan states that “ Our goal is to bring the Discord and PlayStation experiences closer together on console and mobile starting early next year, allowing friends, groups, and communities to hang out, have fun, and communicate more easily while playing games together”.
There were talks that Microsoft was looking to buy out Discord earlier this month, however it appears that Discord has decided to go public. This move could potentially lead to PC communities and console players coming together - especially if Microsoft comes out with a Discord app as well. Currently there isn’t an application that can allow for cross chat amongst gamers that is easily integrated into all platforms.
