Samus Aran is the main protagonist in the video game series Metroid. Metroid is a Japanese action-adventure game franchise created by Nintendo. Samus is a highly trained space bounty hunter after becoming an ex-solider for the Galactic Federation. Her mission is to protect the galaxy from the cunning Space Pirates as they aim to gain power from the Metroid species.
Exciting news! The Metroid series fans may have just found their match. A new Sci-Fi adventure game called Returnal is set to release on April 20th of this year. The game is a third person shooter developed by Housemarque and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. Players will play as space pilot Selene and make their way through an unknown alien planet. (Release - 1986-2017)

Toronto esports just got a whole lot cooler.
The futuristic $500M arena is set to open in 2025, with 7,000 seats available located in Toronto’s popular 192-acre Exhibition Place grounds right next to the BMO Field.
The arena will redefine Toronto’s architecture scene and aims to host over 200 events a year. The venue will be designed by Populous, the popular international architecture firm and the masterminds behind the creation of incredible sport venue projects such as the T-Mobile arena in Las Vegas & the Fusion Arena in Philadelphia + more.

PopBase is a SaaS platform that focuses on better health and wellness initiatives for children through the use of subscription-based services and provides simple templates for users to create interactive education experiences without being so daunting.
Headquartered in Burbank, California PopBase was founded by leaders Lisa Wong (CEO), Amit Tishler (CCO) and Richard Weeks (CTO) in January 2017. Lisa’s vision was to solve a communication problem between game developers and players in order to create an interactive messaging experience to further educate the players experience. In her most recent interview Lisa shares her best advice stating “be prepared to adapt quickly, lean on your network. Try not to eat garbage. Wash your heads with soap and water. Take your own good advice :).”
Some of the features we love: strong focus on children’s wellness through interactive games such as Woodland Mysteries coming fall 2021, tools to create a codeless story experience making it more accessible for new players.
